Mutual Fund Advisor BlackRock Acquires Large Piece of Manchester United

 

BlackRock, one of the world’s largest investment management firms, has acquired about 3.3 million, or 8.2%, of the Class A ordinary shares of soccer club Manchester United (MANU).  Manchester United went public on the NYSE last year.  The company is still controlled by the Glazer family.
