Another Mafia Wars* Victim – Pincus Out as Zynga Chief

He stays on as Chairman and Chief Product Officer.

Reports are that Mark Pincus, CEO and founder of Zynga, is stepping aside as CEO.  He will remain as Chairman and Chief Product Officer.

Don Mattrick, who previously headed up Microsoft’s entertainment/Xbox division, will take over.

ZNGA closed up 10.43% to $3.07 on the news.  Following the 2011 IPO, ZNGA had approached $15.00/share in early 2012, but has not seen $4.00/share in 2013.
